Diese sich immer erweiternde Serie von Ast- und Wasserbildern, erzählt von der Stille, die einen umgibt, wenn im Winter der Boden gefroren ist und alles leicht neblig und dunstig und die Sonne noch nicht ganz durchkommt, der Nebel die Geräusche dämpft, der Schnee sie ganz verschluckt und man das Gefühl hat, man ist der einzige Mensch weit und breit. Das Licht ist bleiern aber man weiß, dass die Sonne sich ihren Weg irgendwann durch den Dunst bahnt. Und man weiß, dass es demnächst Frühling wird. Noch ist davon nichts zu sehen, aber es liegt schon in der Luft.

This ever-expanding series of branch and water images tells of the silence that surrounds you when the ground is frozen in winter, and everything is slightly misty and hazy, with the sun not yet fully breaking through. The fog muffles the sounds, the snow swallows them completely and you feel like you are the only person for miles around. The light is somewhat leaden, but you know that the sun will eventually find its way through the haze. And you know that spring is just around the corner. Not visible yet, but it's already in the air.
